Meditate. Meditate. Meditate. What should I really meditate upon? The best answer for that would be to reference a dependable source. There are lots of books, magazines and video clips that direct you to what to ponder on. Well, one source that stands the test on time is the written word of God, the bible, which contains the thoughts of God. Read on:
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” 2 Timothy 3:16 King James Version (KJV)
So really, what type of thoughts should I meditate on? That’s easy!
“Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.” Philippians 4:8 The Message (MSG)
Apostle Paul said it all!
